Create a Your Texas Benefits account Easily apply, renew, and manage your benefits. How to create an account: 1. Go to YourTexasBenefits.com or download the Your Texas Benefits app. 2. On the website, select “Log in” and “Create a new account.” 3. On the mobile app, select “Set up a new account.” Use your account to: ■Apply and renew online. ■Check the status of your application or renewal. ■Report changes and upload documents. ■Manage your case. ■View your Lone Star Card balance. ■Print a Medicaid card. How do I know when it’s time to renew? We’ll send you a notice by mail, or email if you signed up to go paperless. You can also log in to your account at YourTexasBenefits.com and click “Select Details” for your case. If it’s time to renew your benefits, there will be a “Yes” in the “Time to renew” column. Do I need to renew even if nothing has changed? Yes. If there are no changes to your information, you will tell us that while renewing. How do I renew my benefits? To renew online, log in to your account at YourTexasBenefits.com and select “Details” for your case. Select “Renew Benefits.” We’ll mail you a renewal packet if you haven’t signed up to go paperless. Doctors will sometimes charge us for an appointment when a member never even showed up. It is illegal for doctors to charge us when a member does not show up for an appointment. This could be fraud or abuse. When you do something wrong and you know it, it is fraud. When you don’t follow rules, it is abuse. If you are concerned that this is happening, or if you are concerned about something else that might be fraud or abuse, there are several ways to let us know. All repor ts are confidential and can be anonymous. You are not required to include your name, address, or any other identifying information.
