With telehealth, you can have a video visit with your doctor. You use your phone, tablet, or computer. No need to travel—you get care right at home or anywhere with internet. Telehealth is useful when: ■ Your day is packed with work or activities and you can’t get away. ■ You live far from the doctor’s office and can’t drive there. ■ You or your children are too sick to leave home safely. Telehealth works for all kinds of doctor visits ■ Checking on test results, prescriptions, or how you’ve been feeling. ■ Getting help after having a baby, with birth control, or breastfeeding. ■ Getting therapy or counseling if you feel stressed, worried, or sad. When using telehealth, it’s important to tell your doctor exactly how you feel. Don’t leave anything out. Telehealth is just for you and a parent / guardian if you’re under 18. It’s not for others to use. If you notice any misuse of telehealth, let our compliance team know right away. You can choose telehealth or go see your doctor in person. It’s up to you!
