3 wellness How do I know if my medical services are approved? Follow these steps: 1. Visit your member portal: Go to www.elpasohealth.com and log in to your account. 2. Call our Member Services Department at 915-532-3778 to ask about the status of your services. 3. Ask your doctor: Speak with your doctor or healthcare provider to confirm if they have received the necessary information. Without vaccines, your newborn can become very sick or even die from measles or whooping cough. Vaccines keep your newborn safe from certain diseases. Your newborn may need more than one dose to be fully protected. It can take days or weeks to get immunity to a specific disease. What can you do? 1. Keep appointments with your pediatrician. 2. Talk to your pediatrician to learn more about vaccines. 3. All vaccines are important, but make sure your baby gets the flu vaccine each year, because the disease changes over time.
